For Warhammer 40,000 came a lot of computer games, which included and strategy. However, their developers have never tried to recreate the original tabletop wargame where you need not to move troops to the cells, and a ruler to measure the distance of forced marches and radii of fire.
The creators of Exodus Wars: Fractured Empire set themselves just such a task. License from Games Workshop have, of course not, but many details are copied directly from the Warhammer 40,000. Rules of the game are not too complex, but the details are enough to make an interesting plan. Please be aware that orders are not always exactly satisfied, the soldiers' morale may fall and reduce the damage to the shelter.
Factions in the Exodus Wars: Fractured Empire only two, but their troops are markedly different: one takes the number, the other - the ability. Go through the campaign of five missions can be for any of them. In addition, there are three cards for individual battles.
